'Forbidden' messages since last fall

There are frequent problems with posting. The message received is:
'Forbidden
You don't have permission to access posting.php on this server.
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at photoshopcreative.net Port 80'

It is so discouraging since this has continued since last fall. It would be wonderful if a remedy could be worked out.

TIA

This really is a problem. It is more than just an annoyance.
I have no idea what "forbidden" is designed to prevent but, I would be willing to accept a little spam(?) in place of what is often three, or four, or more failed attempts to post onto the forum

for what it is worth, here are search results for replies in which the word forbidden appears
search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&keywords=forbidden

I wonder what the difference is between my posting experience and everyone else's? I very rarely get the forbidden error, as long as I don't use the Quote reply button. I sure wish I could tell you my trick, but I don't know what I'm doing, or not doing, right! We definitely need a change made though because it seems Russ has already given up and left the site, and it is obviously effecting many others to the point that they may just give up too.

Edit - One other thing, I always use the Upload attachment tab to display my photos. I don't mess around with doing my own html or linking to other sites.

For what it is worth, I'm using Windows 7 on a PC, Chrome is my browser.

This has been fixed, however, there may be a rise in Spam. Please let us know if it gets out of hand!

I'll accept a rise in spam if that's what it takes to fix the problem.

It's easy for moderators to delete posts; I did that quite often back in the "old days". If it gets out of hand, we can revisit the subject.
