There is a dandy video tut about dodging and burning on the Photoshop Cafe website. Colin does a fine job explaining the ins and outs of these two important techniques.

Shari,
The tut came to me in an email/newsletter from Photoshop Cafe.
The site address is: http://www.Photoshopcafe.com/tutorials.htm I'll see if I can find the address for the newsletter. If I do, I'll post it too. I did a copy and paste of the newsletter but it didn't take. If anyone wants a copy of the newsletter I can forward it to an email address. Send me a PM is not a good thing to advertise your email address.

Put this in the wrong thread, so trying it again. So far it works. url for the dodge and burn tutorial, chas. It is written for photoshop but all can be done in elements by just filling the two layers (dodge and burn)with 50% grey.
