Everyone: Fantastic work on Challenge #1!

Here are a few images from which to choose; not as well-crafted as the ones provided by Suzib, but I hope you'll have fun with these in any event. I've included two RAW files and one JPEG, just for a little variety. Here's a composite of the three unretouched images:

and here's a link to the Zip file containing the three original files:

and another link to pick up the ZIP file:

Remember the rules of engagement: All work must be done in either ACR or LR except for cropping, sharpening and using your de-noise filter. If you use a preset, please list the name and a link to the source if you have that information. Also, if you'd like, please describe tell your workflow.

Enjoy!

Chuck,

Neat picture of the bridge. Wanted it to look like a night/evening shot.

I swear, I am cold sober, but does anyone else see the face at top right just peeking out from under the bridge?

and the slightly receeding hairline?

I see it too, how cool!!!
Number 2,

All in LightRoom, including the crop.

Just some basic "Basic" adjustment and tried out the sharpening in LR. I don't usually sharpen stuff that is not being printed, like whatr it does.

Tweaked the vignetting to -100 and midpoint to 1.

OK, I didn't follow the directions very well. I did pull the raw image into camera raw and made my adjustments but then I thought to cover the mystery face with the moon and things just went from there. You can send me to the corner. :bigwink:

The picture of the musicians was taken at a festival celebrating the early 1900's, so I used Matt's Vintage New York preset as the primary adjustment for this rendition.

Of course, the microphones are a bit of an anachronism...
