I am so sorry about not getting one up last week but poor Don Diego was having so much trouble. He was supposed to post but could not get it to work for him.
This week's is a true challenge. Last Friday DH and I went wine tasting in Napa. Well, after about the 5th winery I was forgetting to change setting from inside to outside. Let's see what you all can do with these.
Oh, Yea, I am begging again...Rob, Gene, Chuck and all the rest of you. Have fun with these

Thanks, Sunny, it was done with the basic ACR adjustments plus just a tad of lightening shadows in PSE6.
Here is the first one.

Here, I had to tweak colour (more sat in yellows/blues, less brightness in reds)... plus I cheated somewhat in desaturating a little shadows, using a levels adjustment layer with a luminosity mask as explained in my other post. The result is nearer to a CMYK rendering where the black channel would be enhanced.
Same treatment for the last one:

Suzi,

I will try some more creative stuff with these later, but settled on image correction here. I peeked at the metadata and it says they were shot at noon(ish). I think I aimed for a later in the day warmth in the light tones, but who knows?
