You know the rules.

ACR or Lr only, with a couple of flips into Photoshop for basic adjustments.

You know me – I never break the rules, just bend em a little on the edges.

O.K., so some times I bend them a lot. :chickendance: :chickendance:

Tell us what you did and have fun!

One to get things going.

This is a Rust preset and a little adjustment for brightness.

Sorry, John, that I am late with these. This one I wanted sooooooooooooo bad to do more in CS3 but I was a very good girl and didn't. All I did was crop. Just might later, for fun.

Image
On this one, I was a little bit of a haughty girl...did a matt preset nostalgic and then ran it through redynamix, that all. Just one little cheat. That bird and I are having a love, hate relationship right now. Can't quite get the look I am after.

Image
Suzi,

Like the silhouette effect with the trees.

Cheat if you must and confess what you did, we wont poke fum at you. no sir (ma'am), not us. :chickendance:

Here is the bird the way I like him!

I finally had time to play with LR and ACR. Sorry for not contributing for some time but my wife had to have a knee replaced and we have been busy with that.
Anyhow, I applied the Direct Positive Preset in LR and then played with the sliders attempting to get a late afternoon look. Went to ACR and changed the Clarity and Vibrance. Then to PSE 6 and applied a Canvas texture. Hope this meets all the rules and regulations of the challenge.

Gary,

Hope your Wife's knee is coming along.

I like the look and what you have done with the picture. May be a little outside of the "rules", but what the heck.

Keep at it! :woohoo: :woohoo:
John
Garry, good to see you here!!! Hope your wife is recovering nicely. Rules are made to be broken, right, John
