I have a G6 also and it is a fiend for noise. Spent a lot of time tweaking this in LR and couldn't get to what I wanted (that I tried out in CS3 where I denoised with Noise Ninja and sharpened with LAB mode).

Ah well.

Adjusted WB to SHADE, ramped up Luminance and Color Noise reduction, then went with Kelsey Smiths Garden preset - naturally! :chickendance:

The preset messes with the WB again, but I like the looks!

O.K., went somewhere else with this.

I saw from the metadata that it was shot at 12:45 pm.

I always associate fires with evening campground settings.

Played - as I usually do with WB and settled on Tungsten and then ramped up the red saturation to 100 and the orange to 53.

How funny, John. I used the Garden preset on the Fire and loved what it did to the picture.
