Me Again!

Three from this summer in Ottawa and ALberta - 1 from the Glengarry Games where they are trying to toss a bag of hay over an ever increasing height of the pole and two from the West Edmonton Mall - the Pirate Ship and the Playland.

Raw files here

What they look like.

Remember the rules of engagement: All work must be done in either ACR or LR except for cropping, sharpening and using your noise filter. You can make some MINOR changes in PSE/CS3 if you want. If you use a preset, please list the name and a link to the source if you have that information. Also, if you'd like, please describe your workflow.

Now, if you want to you can pretty much ignore the rules and have fun, cause that's what I am going to do!

Above all, remember LR's Fifth Rule: Enjoy!

I had much pleasure with this one:
ACR 4.5 preset: Adobe Standard beta 1
Plus different settings, exporting in 16 bits in Elements with only 16 bits adjustments.

Michel,

I have played with this image quite a bit on my own, but never in B&W.

Very Nice!

Really nice, John and Michel. Hopefully, I will get to mine tonight, things here are a fit nervy. My Dad is in the hospital and I am battling with doctors.

Felt a little inspired by Michel, so here is my version in B&W, but oh yeah, I cheated.

Converted to grayscale then opened in CS3, used Lab Sharpening, duplicated layer and changed blend mode to multiply, then dialed opacity way back to about 30%

Yup, that is what I did!
