Thank you, Sunny. The last is is causing some trouble but I will whoop it in shape, lol. After all the straight edits, I am going to have some fun. If time allows.
Why are you not doing raw on your trip?? Naughty girl.
I decided I would.......going to do RAW & JPG just in case I actually shoot something correctly and don't need the RAW file. I've just got to get another SDHC card before I go. I ordered a Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home bag to take on the trip. WooHoo.

Good for you, I always shoot in raw and jpeg. I like to be able to see the picture so I know what to delete. Which is usually most of them. Better grab a bunch of cards. The last time I went to Arizona to see my daughter, I used 4, 4gb cards and filled them all
Suzi,

Now I understand why you have those 1Tb hard drives. :rotfl:

Here is my first one - adjusted White Balance and reduced exposure, then used local the adjustment brush to select the shady area and bump its exposure up.

All editing done in LR-2.2. I set WB to sunny and used the gradient tool to darken up sky and contrast in image. The rest were just minor tweaks and framed in PSE-7.

I used two gradients in LR, one from bottom up to darken highlighta and add green to grass etc and one from top down to lighten shadoes. I also set WB to daylight. Sarpened and a slight Vigennetting and crop and frame.

Love all your work guys, I love seeing what you all do.
I know John, it takes up alot of disk space but I like being able to see the photo.
Eddie, so good to see you playing here, good job.
Great work, everyone. I just got back from getting another card...........hate not having the time to buy online. I always pay more and then pay tax on top of it. Plus, the selection at Walmart stinks. Ugh! Oh, well, that's what I get for changing my mind about shooting RAW. Keep up the good work.
