Photoshop Creative

Hi all:
I went to Matt LR killertips and downloaded the camera profiles but I see no profiles in the camera Calibration section. Why i can't see them?

I also went to adobe/downloads and downloaded the Camera Raw 5.2 and the file went to:
C:/users/D/downloads, Is that the right place? I think something is wrong here but look foward to your comments.

I did the above looking to install the camera profiles in LR2.2

There is a folder within LR that they need to go in to, but I am at work right now and can't check. I will look in the morning unless someone answers beforehand. But, according to the LR2.2 Release Notes, camera profiles are included in the 2.2 update and you should be able to find them in the Calibration section of the Develop Module.

Don Diego, the new camera profiles should already be in LR 2.2. You should not need to install anything. Maybe uninstall the beta ones so the new ones will show up.

Dear Gene and Susie:

I upgraded to 2.2 but when I look there is none. Susie, I never installed the beta ones.
When I click Embedded on the Camera Calibration Module I only get Embedded with a check mark, nothing else.

Now i downloaded Matt's Canon and Nikon Profiles and installed them on the presets module. Is that correct? If not where and how should I install them?

Susan and Gene, Matt suggest to go here C: Programs Data\adobe\Camera Raw\Camera profiles
but when I go to C:\Programs Files\Adobe\ I don't see Camera Raw to see Camera profiles all I see is:
Adobe Bridge CS3
Adobe Device Central
Adobe Help Viewer
Adobe Photoshop CS3
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2
Adobe Stock Photos CS3
Adobe Utilities
Reader 8.0

I originally downloaded these and installed them from the Adobe site - not sure where you got yours from, but the Adobe install goes here: (for Win XP)

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera

and for Vista:

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles

Now that I am home from work I was able to check where my camera profiles are, and John has already given the path for where they need to be. If you are seeing Embedded in the Calibration Section of the Develop module, it is because you are looking at a JPG, TIF, or PSD file. Pull up a RAW file and then you will see the camera profiles in that drop down.
