The other tree, used a preset called "warm sunset"
I was so surprised to see a challenge podted on Xmas eve. Goes to show you no one is sleeping at the helm. The first thing I did was to crop and straighten to my liking. I reset WB to 5900 to warm things up added a little fill light (30) and exposure to +.19. Then applied two gradients filters (neutral gray color) the first from top right corner on say a 30 Degree angle dragging in to reduce blown highlights in right corner tree. The second one was on the botton in the middle up say 1/3 to the middle . I really don't remember what my settings were in the gradient dialog box but adjusted to my liking . I also would periodically turn the button on & off to see the effects better. I increased the Clarity/Vibrance/ and Saturation slider to the mid 20's. I used strong contrast (for most scenery/landscapes shots) and sharpened with lightrooms preset landscape setting. Oh yes I also initially set the Camera calibration profile to "camera landscapes beta 1. Put the frame on in PSE-7 and WALLA here we are.
