Oh no, now you have to try one of the raw files. Jump in and get your feet even wetter!

Very nice, especially to see someone take it out on the more creative side! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I have been struggling with that bird and can't quite get it right.

Here is another of my Watcher

Pumped up the contrast and then tried some split toning on the beastie!

I don't know what would be possible in LR, so here red and blue channels swap in PSE6 plus a few hue/sat enhancements and blurring the edges with ocean ripple (barely visible in small picture)

Michael,
How do you go back in ACR. When I apply a preset & dont like it how do I get back one step.

I think in ACR itself your Undo options are kind of limited.

You can

Ctrl+Z - undo last (1 only) change

Alt+click on the now Reset button - Cancel changes to Reset or

If you have closed the image, the changes are written to the XMP file, so you can delete it and you are back to an out of the camera setting.

And finally on a lot of the sliders, if you do a double click on them, they will return to the default setting - not a undo, but kind of a localized reset.

I figured I'd try out Michel image. I changed the WB to Tungsten which lowered the temp a bit to 2850. Added some fill light and played a bit to try and get the skin colors more realistic. Used strong contrast and sharpened it quite a lot. I almost forgot Cropped and straightnened. Everything done in LR except frame which was done in PSE-7.
