so here it is, played with the white balance in ACR, tweaked blacks and did some edge sharpening in ACR.

More stuff tomorrow!
John
We are having a wonderful New years eve. Water heater went out today and DH is in the garage replacing it as I write this. So far, no dinner, no water and with the garage open it is getting cold in here. To top it off, he has to get up at 4:30 to go to work, so no celebrating either.
Lobster, did you say lobster. Ok, I would love to have some of that. Save the claws for me, please.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!!!!
Suzi,

This seems to be your electrical year - I seem to recall a power panel failure earlier.

No claws left. bit my DW saved a bite of the tail for tomorrow - really!

Now, we do have some oysters on the shell waiting for Midnight! (Malpeque)!!

Nice job - I like the close crop.

This image was a challenge. That's for sure. Had a lot of fun trying to make a presentable photo of the image. i first cropped so as to enlarge the bird. Then cooled off WB which added the blue to the sky. Added a little exposure and fill light Increased the clarity, vibrance and Saturation sliders. Used the strong contrast in the curves dialog and Really agressively sharpened it up and added a little Vignetting to focus in on the main subject. Exported to PSE-7 and cheated a bit by putting a higllight in the eye. Then added my frame and here we are.
