For those that have finally seen the light!

Pictures were taken in Old Town, Rhodes, Greece.

The Rules:
1. Lr Rule 5 - Enjoy
2. The Usual stuff:
All work must be done in either ACR or LR except for cropping, sharpening and using your noise filter. You can make some MINOR changes in PSE/CS3 if you want. If you use a preset, please list the name and a link to the source if you have that information. Also, if you'd like, please describe your workflow. [Or not, but fess up and tell us what you did.]

And the adjustments (all in LR):

The bottom half of the adjustments were applied to the whole picture. Then brushed over the building, and the upper adjustments were only to the building.

Initially I added fill light light to brighten up the interior of the arch. Then I split the image in two. I selected the exterior views with the brush, then desaurated it, along with clarity, sharpness, exposure, and contrast adjustments. Found some blue within it and desaturated it a bit more, then upped the blue luminance.

I then selected the archway interior, added clarity, contrast, sharpening, and a couple other adjustments until I wound up with you see here.

I think sometimes my playing in LR is a lot like my wife's cooking, she just keeps tweaking until she makes whatever she's making as good as she can get it (and my waist line is showing it!). She's working on a culinary degree right now.

The tweaks on this are about twice as long as my screen is tall. There is no real "recipe" here, I play and have a look in mind when I start, but that changes as I go along. I did use a sepia preset as the next to last thing I did, and then brightened that up a bit.

Thank you, Michel. I like how you brought out the texture in the rock.
