Hi
As you can see in this picture there is a man 's foot and body behind the children. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting him out of the photo that does not involve the lasso or wand?
Also the picture has a lot of noise in it. What are the ways to reduce noise?
Thanks,
Steve
Ps is there a way to get rid of the sun spot too. I really should have used a hood.

Hi Steve. You could try using the clone tool to get rid of the man in the background. There is a noise filer in PSE that you can play around with. Or you could get a plug-in called Neatware that works pretty good. Or a stand alone program from image Imageonics the stand alone if free so to the bottom of the page at this link and download. You will have to edit the image to your liking in the Noiseware software and save it then open it in Elements

Thanks Kim,
I never used the clone tool before. It was really cool.
Here's how it came out.

Wow, you did a really good job there. Are you just starting out, or have you used PSE for a while? Were you on the PET forum? (A bit confusing with all these new avatars and names!)

Thanks all for the nice comments.

Reka, I am relatively new. I got PSE5 in August and that's when I became a subscriber as well. I didn't really join in at the other forum too much. I just started getting into the forums about a month ago. I really was an observer from afar. So much knowledge I really didn't know when to start, but now I'm jumping in :D
Thanks again everyone for the nice comments.
Steve
PS the small boy in the middle is mine and the girl on the right is also mine. (Liam 14m and Grace age 4) The other three are my brother's children. My mom asked me to make a picture for her christmas cards.
