Hi Blemaire and welcome. Which tut were you working with? It is the one from this site by fdlite?

Bernell, I looked at it and there are no instructions for a frame. I will write something up tomorrow and post it in the tutorial section. just watch for it. oh, and I will see you at our meeting.

Meanwhile.. dig around. We are a great bunch. :P

I have been digging around a little while and love everything already,
I can see and feel this is a great group to hang around with and everyone is
helpful. Can't wait to be more at ease with this site and pictures, elements, etc...

I want to apologize for any misspellings or dumb questions now, because I am sure I
will have some.

Thanks

Any friend of Kimi's is more than welcome.

The framing in the tut Dane did is pretty easy to do. Create a new layer and make a selection of the area you want to be the frame, fill it with white. Then create another new layer and make a selection of the area you want to be pink and fill it with pink. Then add a slight bevel layer style. Now use the magic wand and select the inside of the frame area (tranparent part) then go to edit stroke outline, choose black for the color and about 2 or 3 pixels, select outside, click ok. That should give you the frame like Dane (fdlite) did.

We don't believe in dumb questions so ask away.

Bernell when you read things it may sound complicated but if you take it one step at a time you will see you can do it. Ask if you get stuck, someone will be happy to answer. We were all new at some point. ;)

Thanks for the help Kim.
