Hello all, I would like to print the screen from the editor for my notes. I have seen it done but I do not have any idea how. I just tried to duplicate something I had done and it took wayyy to long to remember what I did.
Thanks in advance. :?:

Hi Walt

All you do is hold down your print screen button, this should make a copy for you. (function + print screen if you are on a laptop)

Ctrl N in Elements to open a new document and it will be the correct size.
Ctrl V to paste it in.
Save as you want.

Hope this helps?

Walt,
just press Print Screen on your key board, this copies your screen.
Then open a new page ( Control N). This opens a page called clip board, Control V pastes your copy of the screen
into the page. Resize it to what you want and then print it out.
Hope this helps,
Kev.

Thanks for the quick replies. My memory is less than I would like it to be so I need to start keeping notes on how I got things to work the first time. This forum is great! :D

Or, with certain Dell laptops, it may be Shift + Prnt Scrn.

I also learned recently that Alt + Prnt Scrn will print just the active window, if you have one of those popup windows that appears in some dialogs.

For those who want to know more, there's always Wikipedia:

Walt, after copying the screen to the clipboard, you can paste it directly into a Word document if that is where you are typing your notes.
