This is my first time on Photoshop Creative Elements with the hope that I can learn how to change my photo to a black background....I am really have problems understand the procedure with layers.

Is there a tutorial that I can follow? I want to change the background to black only (not white and black)

Looking forward to learn to make my photos better.
