I have Scott Kelby's book and want to get another resource. Would I be better take an online course from
http://www.eclecticacademy.com/curriculum.htm or buy the book Photoshop Elements 6: The Missing Manual - Barbara Brundage? thanks
Hi, I've taken 5 classes at Eclectic Academy. You really do get your moneys worth.
It was much easier for me to learn from a class than a book.

I would start there and jump into some of the challenges posted here. Anytime you are digging around in the software you are learning.

Welcome to our family!

I've taken 2 Eclectic Academy classes and really loved them. They force me to keep up, or at least try to keep up, with the weekly reading and homework assignments. You get to look other people's homework and see how they approach it. This in itself can be fun and inspiring. Here's a link to someone's homework for various classes that Sara Froehlich taught or still teaches there.

I'd much rather take a class, especially if it's affordable, than read a book (unless it's got lots and lots of pictures).

Thanks for the replies! I have signed up for Elements 6 class 1 at Eclectic.
Good, you will learn alot from the classes. They are really good.
Ditto! I also just signed up too on-line at Eclectic. I'll also be taking P.S. Elements 6, class 1. I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks so much for the suggestion of where to take on-line classes.
