I know I'm missing something but I have a template, that has a space in it for me to insert a photo.

How do I do this in Elements 5 ? I KNOW I did it a few months ago but have somehow forgotten (time passing by probably didn't help)....

But it is driving me mad and I have to have this example done by later this evening to show a client.

If ANYONE can help I'd appreciate it......

I feel like such an idiot!

Not sure what kind of template you are using but this is how I do it.
put the magic want inside the space for photo , click...should get marching ants around the space
then copy your image and paste into selection...that should do it.
If you need a better or more concise explaination, give a holler

also here is a thread on the same subject

If it's a layered template, highlight the layer on which you want your photo to be placed, drag your photo onto the template, move it to the area where you want it to be and alt/click on the line between the picture and layer beneath to "clip" it. I hope that makes sense......I'm the worst at giving instructions. :)
