my first Digital Scrapbook page

I am tackling a digital scrapbook page, but my first attempt looks soo amateurish. I want to eventually make it a dvd slideshow for showing on the tv. This first attempt is 8"w x 10"h (blank file). As my photos are all 3000x1000 (can't remember the exact size) should I have started with a 10"w x 8"h blank file? Also when I made a slideshow from within Elements 5 (version I have) I noticed it made my lovely photos into a smaller size and then when played on tv it stretched them to fit making most of them blurry and/or distroted. I will use another software to make the dvd, but so that doesn't happen again I want to make sure I am starting with the correct size. Should it be larger?

Here is my first attempt. I know it is ugly but at least now I know roughly how to start. I used the background and graphics that come with Elements 5 (not many nice choices there though).
OK can't figure out how to show pic here that is in PrestoPhoto. Will put it here when I get that figured out.

You could just copy and paste the url from where your picture is. Or use pixentral to post. If you need directions on that just give a holler.

Here is the link to your page:

Somewhere on here is a tutorial on this but can't seem to find it. Anyway go to the user control panel , then profile, then edit signature. Oops copy the below thing. Paste this into the signature box.Put a bracket in the front and the back of the whole string. change the id number to what your's is,and name your gallery to what ever you want yours to say. Your gallery number is 34454 .See where is says your %20number delete that and put your number there

pixentral.com for pixentral and it is free

I hope this works

sorry suzib::crying: I can't get my Gallery to show. Maybe it will be easier if I just went to pixentral and put it on there. I have to go offline now so I will play around with this again tomorrow and see what's what. :)

Try this, copy and paste the string below into your signature (in user control panel) add a "[" to the front and a "]" to the backof the string. No spaces. It should be good to go

I use proshow gold for my DVD slideshows. I personally recommend that if your goal is to put your precious pages on a DVD to play on the tv invest in software just for that. I love proshow because you get to control everything about each slide and add music etc. My family is addicted to my slideshows - Here is there link

So glad that worked for you. You can change the name of the gallery if you want. I just named it that to get you going.
