While on our hols ,I came across by chance a shop that sold canvas printing sheets,A4 size.I had never seen it before,so I bought a couple of packs to see what it was like, and I loved it the pics turned out great on the canvas.the reason I'd never seen it befor is because no one seems to sell it hear in the UK.The makers are called geographics, but after going on thier web site to order some more, theres not enough info on the shipping costs abroad [outside usa],and they had no e.mail address !!!.
Does anyone else use canvas printing sheets or know of a web site that I can take a look at,?.

I have used it and is fairly easy to find in 8 1/2 by 11. What is the size you are looking for. Trying googling for it, I found quite a few

THANKS SUZIB,BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN ON THE GEOGRAPHICS WEB SITE,AND ENTERED MY DETAILS THEY HAVE E.MAILED ME, SO NOW I CAN EVEN COMPARE TYPES OF CANVAS AND PRICES,IT'S SO SILLY THAT WE CAN'T GET IT OVER HERE,WELL WE CAN ,BUT ONLY IN A GIANT ROLL THAT COSTS A SMALL FORTUNE,AND YOU HAVETO USE AN INDUSTRIAL TYPE PRINTER,OR CUT IT UP !! :thanks:
I know that Hahnemuhle paper is sold in the UK..... ask a decent photo shop about it. They do every kind of inkjet printing paper under the sun, including canvas and a few more odd ones, including bamboo. They also do sample packs, where you get two of each of 10 kinds.

Thanks Geoff, I'v written that down, sadley nothing near me so far sells the packs of single sheets just the very large rolls, but the next time we go futher afield I will askabout the one you have mentioned, the trouble is if there is'nt enough demand then they just wont stock it. :crying: .Suzib bless has opened up quite a few alternative suppliers for me.
MIN. GOOD LORD IT'S 4.30AM !!!!!!!,LOL .NIGHT ALL
Yes, I was quite surprised to see a reply from you at that time. I'm going to find canvas in the UK for you if it's the last thing I do...... though don't discard the 'roll' idea straight away - it's the cheapest way to buy quality paper and, with a good guillotine or other cutting device you can get all the sizes you want.

AhaH!! How's this one? http://www.inkprices.com/item--Glacier-A4-True-Cotton-Canvas-Sheets-226gsm-(10-Sheets)--I-TCANA410.html
