Here is another thing that can be done. Use the magic wand on the window area and replace it with a scene. I also replaced the doily. With a little more care than what i took this can look really nice this way.

I feel that the background's a bit too complicated to do a great deal with it..... you'd have to be so amazingly accurate with your selection so that you don't include bits of curtain, chair or leaves outside - I think it may be just too tricky. Topaz have a new plug-in available, though, called 'Remask"..... Suzi usually gets to check these things out - maybe it's not worth it for an occasional job but looks great if you do a lot of this kind of thing. Perhaps somebody here has the program and would like to apply it to the picture?
