I want to change my avatar to reflect the Holiday season. The picture I want to use is currently sized 360 x 250. What size do I need to make it if I want to use it as my avatar?

Maximum dimensions; width: 100 pixels, height: 100 pixels, file size: 16kB.

Do I need to delete my current avatar before I upload my new one? I have not deleted my old one, but when I try to upload my new one, I get an error message. I have the dimensions correct, but still get the error message. What am I doing wrong?
