Hi all,
A couple of Dumb questions but I will ask anyway. :)

I shoot mainly RAW and use PSE 4 with ACR 4.1 which I am reasonably happy with results and workflow.
But PSE 4 cannot be upgraded to the latest version of ACR.

Question 1). Is it worth upgrading to PSE 6 and installing latest ACR version, and is the ACR a full version or a limited version like 4.1 with PSE (only the basic & detail tabs)?

Question 2). If I purchased Lightroom to process my RAW images can I still import them across to PSE 4 for any further PP work if necessary without having to get a full blown version of Photoshop?

Essentially looking to upgrade my imaging software without spending a fortune.

Thanks
Dennis

Not worth upgrading, unless you have a new camera which is not supported by version 4.1. Yes only basic and detail tabs. What's new? crop and straightening tool, possibility to open several files at once in ACR.

Yes, many find the combo LR + PSE is excellent.

Dennis:
You wont regret getting Lightroom it made a world of difference in my workflow. I use LR first then if needed upload to PSE5 for selections, healing and clone stamping etc. 8-)
