This is my first try at making a sky. The sky in the photo is totally blown out, so I tried to make my own sky, using Selective Color and some cloud brushes that I downloaded from Adobe Studio Exchange. I'm not totally happy with the perspective on this, but it was the best I could do. I think I need to find a good tutorial on perspective.

Anita, Your sky certainly adds to the picture. Your perspective is ok. I'm sure someone will give you some tips about making yourself happier about it.
This too shall pass. Is that so? Maybe.

Anita, I would have never known it was made up. You did a perfect job on it. Don't change a thing.

Anita,
You did a wonderful job on the sky. It looks so natural, like it was that way from the start.
Here's a tip for perspective correction that helps me. I add the grid to the photo and straighten the vertical lines of the structures to the vertical grid lines. I hope this helps.

I think you did a good job with the perspective. You could make all the verticals exact (Image/Transform/Perspective or Filter > "Correct Camera Distortion") but when they get really straight they start to look very weird, especially when it's clear you're looking upwards - the eye expects the uprights to converge a little.

Thanks, Gail, Jen, Chas, Kimi and Geoff. Thanks for the tip, Chas. Geoff, That's exactly what happened. After I tried to straighten the perspective more than this the photo looked very weird. Thanks to all of you for your nice comments. :thanks:

Wow, that is incredible. I would have never known it wasn't natural. "Mother Nature" is already taken, so maybe we should start calling you "Naturemom" instead of Westiemom! :D

Also, I didn't know there WAS such a thing as cloud brushes! So much to learn...

Anita, very nice after effect with the sky and clouds.

Anita - I am envious of your success with the cloud brushes. I can NEVER got those to look genuine. Congrats on a terrific addition to this photo.
