One thing I love about restorations are the stories about the photos. This image of the mother and daughter is the only image the grown daughter of the two of them.

John what a great restore. You are so right about the story behind the picture.
What a wonderful restoration. Especially poignant since this is the only photo the daughter has of her mother.

Great restoration,John. Can't stress how important it is to restore poignant photos before they fade away.

Thanks Chas & Kev. This restoration gave me a lot pleasure. The daughter is giving her Mom the photo as a birthday present.

Oh my gosh! What a blast from the past! That's background #5! hehehe.... I use to be a photographer for PCA, and that's one of the old backgrounds that we used. Too funny! All my portraits are orangy too! Gee... I wonder if I took that portrait? It was back in the late 70's. Do you know when and where this was taken? (and it looks MUCH better in b&w!

I don't have a clue as to where or when this image was taken.
