Thought I'd try my luck with this neat plug-in.

I love both picture, but it is hard to see the effect on the second one. My eyes or because the size of the picture may not do it justice.
I guess I should have put the photo on Pixcentral. The 500 pixel limit just doesn't do it justice.

From the examples, I can't see much difference, although it looks like the second one is out of focus. I found it at Plugins World http://photoshop.pluginsworld.com/plugins/adobe/734/mehdi/fur-2.html but I'm not sure what it's meant to do - some kind of rotation?

<edit> ah - found out more here > http://www.mehdiplugins.com/english/fur.htm. Probably of use but I can't think what for!

Chas, here is another example of the Fur2 Plug-in that I used for last week's Make Art Monday:

One of the options available is to select 'line' or 'circle'. I think your sample uses the 'line' option whereas mine used the 'circle' option.

It's just kind of a fun plug-in. :D

I used the circle option but I sized them smaller. I didn't want to go overboard with this effect. This may just have been the wrong photo for this plug-in.

I like the effect, i would just love to see your picture a bit bigger, so i can really see the effect, you know the eyes do go a bit.
I've reposted the "after" photo from Pixentral for a bigger image and a better look. ...should have done this right from the start.
