Sunny... you are just the sweetest!

I really like how her red tenny shoe showed when I was taking the shot. She was laying face down on a brick sidewalk.
(the things I make that poor child do)
But after working on the image, the leg and shoe had to come out.

Everyone...
I have a great video link on my blog for smoothing skin tones and adding a little blush.
Do check it out.

Kimi - This is just lovely and thanks for the links to the videos, too. AND, adding the before shot just lets us all see how dramatic the changes were - in the photo, NOT in the very willing model.
(My comment is in your gallery - with no name :| I have NO idea why my screen name was NOT included with the comment!)

Great job, Kimi
That's quite a transformation. I agree about taking out the leg and shoe. Puts the focus more on your daughter's beautiful face.
Wow, Kimi. Great job. And thanks for the link

Kimi, I'm one of the spraguemates over at Jessica's site. I absolutely love all your work! I'm taking the Oh Shoot photo course right now, and I saw the "after" image of Holly. When I clicked on your blog I was hoping to find what digi papers and overlays you used, but I couldn't find anything where you mentioned them. Could you please let me know what digi products you used? Also did you alter holly's picture and make it like a sepia tone to match the background? Thanks for sharing you unique creativity!!
Hi and Welcome!
The effects on Holly's image were used creating a combination of different things. Almost all have been posted on my blog, you just have to dig for them. :P

The main bacground that you are seeing is a texture, applied with the blend mode changed.
It is a free texture from DevianART called Antique 1.
Let me give credit: Erica from SheisPretty. :chickendance:

The color of the image is the effect of the different textures applied.
Hope this helps!
