I found this nifty little tut for enhancing skies

That's nice, Suzi,
I often get a bit of "edge halo" if I try to boost a light blue sky. How did you avoid that?

Here is the link to the tutorial, it is super easy. On the one I posted I used a grey instead of black, then lowered the opacity on the gardient layer. You can also paint with black on the mask if areas other than the sky are too dark but didn't need to on this one.

Interesting - I have bookmarked it for future reference.

I also noted that there is a tutorial a little further down about cropping to a rule of thirds along with some tips on making your own overlays.

I will post a note in the cropping thread - it may help him out.
