I took on of the photos I'd taken in northern Nevada and made it into a black and white composition.
The cloudless sky was flat and too bright. So I did a gradient addition to make the sky a little more interesting.

Chas, I agree, white skys are not very interesting. I like the after sky much better.

Not that I'm trying to be a perfectionist....but. I redid the gradient before it hit the mountain-tops. This,I think gives a little more pop to the mountains.
