Wood Carvings

It was a crappy day but, hey, when things get tough, the tough (photographers) get going 8-)

Went to Grant Park today. Too much ice on most of the trails so I didn't get what I was after ... it gets pretty steep in places, afraid I was going to fall and break my neck. I did find this:

Very nice, Rusty. The birds must like it as it seems they want to buy it. (They left a deposit) :rotfl: Sorry, I couldn't pass that up. Moving on, there are all sorts of endless possibilities with carvings like this. Hope you post some more.

Rusty these are both very nice. I like the sketch effect because it retains the sharp detail (I think it's the second one...) Great shots.
