Yes, that's a very good job you did with the B&W........... but that orange dress is stunning with that background!
PSE6 on WinXP, Pentax K10d...... and now a Canon G10.

On this one I go with the color one the black and white is missing something may be a little bit more contrast. Keep experimenting with it I think it is a jewel in the making.

Hi! Great shot! And if you dont' mind a couple of suggestions... I agree a little boost in contrast would be good. Maybe try duplicating and change the blendmode to multiply or darken at a low opacity. Also, I feel the face really needs some softening. If you are not sure how best to do that just google photoshop skin softening and you will get several good tuts.

Great portrait,Coco. The b&w version needs some pop. The overall gray tone to the photo is a distraction.
Also the out of focus blur on her shoulder is distracting and could use some feathering. Don is right....this is a masterpiece just waiting to happen.
