I took this photo of a friend's daughter and I just love it. I'd like to do something special to it, but am experiencing creativity block. So I thought I'd put it up here and see if anyone wants to play with it, show me what you'd do with it. I'll give you the before, you provide the after.

Thanks!

Here's my take on it.. Basically merged a few images and played with blend modes.

(I like your new ladybug Judy!)

Michelle you did a great job that is adorable. And thanks , i needed a change.
Good work, all!

Suzi, I'm always afraid to crop so close. It looks good.

ladybug - very cute. Your frame works well on that page.

Michelle - how dramatic and creative.

I love the end of the month when I get a chance to do a couple of challenges.

Not terribly extreme...
I used a virtual photographer filter, Polar, which darkened it a lot. I masked that to bring most of the face and some of the fingers and hair "back to original" and then applied a gaus blur to just the shoulder to soften the wrinkles.

Like you, I run out of nerve when cropping a face. I really like Suzib's tight crop. I'll leave the cropping up to you; I would certainly get rid of the knee.

Everyone's work is so pretty! I keep seeing a page with a tight crop like Suzi's as the main focus, and a smaller, full size image (without the knee). Some little butterflies & maybe a few sweet little fairies. A wispy, cloudy, dreamy type background. I wish I could make the page, but I don't really know how to do those yet.

Kim, what beautiful wings! Very appropriate from Angelic Kim. :)

Rusty, very rich color.

Betty - you know how to do those types of pages. You just haven't done one yet so you don't realize it!
