The overhead shot of the mall fountains led folks down some interesting paths last week.

ALEX B: The new population fits right in -- what was the original setting that was inspiring all the photography?
BARBARA W: The Christmas wrap echoing the lines of the planters and the tree are terrific.
BILL Z: The mall as the Death Star? Nice work on the spherization.
CELIA B: Love the static-y pattern you derived from the original -- could the orange and blue be a comment on the upcoming Rose Bowl?
ELLEN H: I like the way the courtyards in the model echo the right angles in the mall planters.
ED B: Replacing the pinball field with the mall planters was a great idea -- nicely done! The mice and cheese in #2 are a hoot.
LISA B: Interesting floor replacement -- nice selection job.
MALCOLM D: Wow -- who knew planter foundations could be so interesting. Very effective graphic.
MARILYN L: Love the new pools and the dolphins -- nice work on the water.
MARK R: Watercolor filter perhaps -- interesting effect on this image. Love the frame in #2.
RED S: Substituting the gravel for the floor makes an interesting effect. I keep thinking of aquarium decorations.
RITA G: The paper airplane folds are great.
TOM M: That's the way I feel in malls after an hour or so shopping! Would make a great movie poster for, say, 'Vertigo'.
