That is a really cool tutorial and you all have done a great job!

This technique could make for some interesting scrapping papers and embellishments. :cheer2:
I forgot all about putting it on paper or texture until I came to post. :)
Oh well ......next time.

You all do GREAT work! :chickendance: :chickendance:

Just an FYI, just found out I will be going to Savannah, GA this weekend to see my kids so there won't be a Saturday Knight Challange next Saturday.

I'll will come up with something maybe better than what I had in my mine. :saint:

Again, good work all.

Thanks,

Kimi,

The way I see it, you started this, many moons ago when I started doing your challanges/homeworks.

Anyway, I took this challange one more step. I turned the visibility on the next to last layer and moved it to the top, went into filters->Brush Strokes->Crosshatch, layer Blending Mode to Multiply and lower the Opacity. Then added a New blank layer on top. Add color to the new blank layer using a Chalk brush. Once that was done (trust me it look like ... really bad) I then went into Filter->Blur->Gaussian Blur and push the Radias to 31.7, which cause a smooth blending to take place. I then texture the layer with Sandstone (repeated the texture about 5 or 6 times) and this is what I ended up with. Kind of looks like a chalk effect.
