I know it's not Friday yet, but here's my entry:

Colored background, then texturized it, dry brush, blur. Added the basket and pottery, kokopelli and arrowhead.

The other photos of the Mojave are mine taken at least 8 years ago if not more. I love to read about the Anasazi Indians who occupied that area. The photos of the pictographs and petroglyphs are done from the Anasazi Indians. Because The Mojave is one of my favorite places I didn't have the heart to do anything to Chas' beautiful picture of the Valley of Fire.

Love the picture, chas
first separated the sky used levels to brighten
on the land portion used a xero filter then fractalius filter merged
then did fractalius again and last another filter call redynamix...all in all about 10 layers

Used a gradient to erase part, did part of Christel's sketch, put Anita's sketch on top of that, didn't like the sky so I selected from original, dragged to top, reduced opacity and added noise.
