I finally finished all my downloading (video tutorials, Layers Course videos, and Subscriber written Tutorials). I can play now. Here's my Creative Homework submission.

I have tried several times to blend two photos per the link provided; however, it never turns out. Near the end of the video, after grabbing the black to transparent gradient, it says something like, "Click near the edge of the photo, hold down the shift key and drag to about the middle of the photo and you can see that you're getting a nice smooth blend." When I do this, I get a black and white space but it doesn't blend at all. Anybody know what I could be doing wrong? Is there a written tutorial on this rather than a video?
