Betty, I think that's a pretty good result. Are fireworks even allowed to be set off in your area right now, due to the drought?

Thanks, Judy & Courtney. It was my understanding that they were not permitted. However, I live in the county,not a city per se. A few people out here tend to do their own thing, occasionally. Fortunately, there were only a few fireworks. I noticed the neighbors, who were not shooting fireworks, were in their yard, keeping an eye on things. I was glad when the fireworks quit. (I keep hoses hooked up, ready to go, all the time.)
