From Laura regarding her Carousel photo:

For my carousel photo, I used a Facebook application called Picnik. The
original photo was taken mid-day, but I went in and darkened it a bit. Next,
I used a cross-processing effect to get a richer, more vibrant color. The
stars in the sky was an effect called 'Space Textures'. Around the border I
added a burgundy colored vignette. I'm glad that other people were
interested in my photograph!
