6. 'hard to believe'
7. object with the letter 'e' in the name
8. ripe

Two substitute subjects are OK.

If you don't accomplish all 8 photos, please post what you do shoot, even if you only have 1 or 2. A little background regarding the photo is always interesting. Photoshopping is optional - always fun to see.

Have a wonderful month finding photo ops.

I tried to wait until September first to post an entry; however, I'm too excited to wait. I hope it's okay and I don't get kicked off the team for cheating.

Last month I was too busy to make very many entries - this month I hope to do better.

Here's an entry for apple - my Apple iMac computer. Also an entry for something with the letter e in it - my desk. Also there are two external hard drives on the right side of my desk. And three fireman statues. Plus a few picture frames. And a telephone - that has 3 e's in it.

Betty - You are welcome and thanks for the kind words. I agree with you, my work area is very neat, or as my grandkids would say: it's most excellent grandpa.

Judy, thanks for the kind words. I do love my desk; however, I get tired of dusting it so often. The pear tree picture and page made me hungry for a pear so I ran down to the corner fruit market and bought 3 of those wonderful fruits; however, I know that store bought fruit is nothing like home grown.
An entry for park. They were having a birthday party in the park.

My first offering for September is 'preserves/jams/jellies'

I was given a small amount of damsons the other day. I was a child the last time we had damsons and we made damson cheese with them. I remember it being very nice. So I thought I would have a go at recreating a flavour from my childhood.
After cooking the damsons I strained the pulp through a sieve.

The next step was to heat the juice with some sugar and then boil up to the 'cheesy' point. I ended up with two damson cheeses like this one.

The verdict - very tasty. It is firm and somewhat sticky. It doesn't spread, you have to slice it. And a little goes a long way.

I'd love to try that. I had to Google to find out what a "damson" was :bigwink:

Don't know if we have them here or not ... maybe by another name.

Looks good - sort of like cranberry sauce. However, rather than berries, I guess damson are variety of plum.
Your photos turned out real nice. Looks like you are doing great with the dslr.
