Happy New Year, Everyone ! :toast:

Change a blend mode, play with a filter ..... anything goes as "ART"

NOTE: You may post your art through out the week. It is just a push to get you to go in and try something new. Remember you can post as many times as you want and it doesn't have to be just on Monday. Brushes, patterns, gradients, abstracts anything you want. So let's get busy and make some GREAT art!

The text has a copy of the bokeh background clipped to it. However, the text is an inverse of the bokeh colors. The inserted graphic was made using Sepiana's (evillage) image that was recently posted.
I did a step & repeat of the champagne in ice image, with a decrease of size in each counterwise rotation.

Really nice, BJ. Love the swirly, you did well spacing them.

I'm more mundane. Have lacked creativity lately. Just took a photo of some flowers climbing a fence, used levels to darken the background a little, Topaz Simplify, PostWorkShop and 2 textures.

Betty i love how you swirled the champagne. Tennie i really like the dark tones in your art.
I posted the wrong image, it was 1 step from what I wanted. This may not be much better, but I like prefer it.

Tennie i can not say why but i like the second one better.
I like how you treated the unicorn drawing, Judy.
Tennie's second version is also my "keeper choice".

I photographed our Church in all it's Christmas splendor:

For some reason, I was not allowed to include the SOOC starting image in my post:

Should I have left it alone and not attempted to get arty?
