I found one of them, only one.

The letter "V" in the name would be, in this case, Vitamix.

If I did it correctly the photo is clickable.

I might have done it correctly but we'll never know thanks to "Forbidden"

Below, if it's not Forbidden, is a photo that's not clickable.

Well, it's not clickable, but I'd love to know the secret to getting around the 500 pixel limit. Your Vitamix photo is obviously taller than 500 pixels.

Courtney
Russ, the Vitamix looks like wonderful equipment & the photo is excellent.

fwiw:
When I first became a part of this forum, I read somewhere in the discussions that images posted should be no more than 500 px in largest dimensions & stay within the 256 ki limit. Most members are staying within that size limit. The image posted above is 474 x 1024 px.

If the decision was left up to me alone, I would say that the posting size should be flexible --- say 500 px for the majority of images posted & include a link to the larger image, if desired. It would seem that a 640 px might be OK, occasionally.
However, it seems to me, that a 500 px image is usually just fine for the 8 photos thread.
What are your thoughts?

If anyone else has comments or suggestions, please share.

I'd like to say to everyone how much I appreciate all that they do & contribute to the monthly 8 photos threads (& to the forum in general) :thanks:

I'll only do 500 from now on. I didn't know about that rule.

After looking at the smaller size I can see that there's a lot of lost detail.

Below is the same photo at the smaller size.

Russ, thanks for the reply. The 500 px image looks terrific. If there is concern regarding detail, perhaps a link to a larger image would be helpful.
I've never checked out a Vitamix. It looks like it can prepare lots of yummy things.

Of The 90's: Went on a tour bus to Hollywood and L.A. yesterday. Found this in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre - done in 1994

Mary, real nice capture of a great find. Same for the Cahuilla Indian shelter. Love them both.
Looks as if you are having a wonderful time. Looking forward to what you find next

Went downtown today, looking to create art & beauty... plus, fill out my eight.
I have one more to go, plus "your choice'.

Rusty, that is great for blue tones! Also an excellent subject for shelter.
