It's "Make Art Monday!" Show us what you've got.

Change a blend mode, play with a filter ..... anything goes as "ART"

NOTE: You may post your art through out the week. It is just a push to get you to go in and try something new. Remember you can post as many times as you want and it doesn't have to be just on Monday. Brushes, patterns, gradients, abstracts anything you want. So let's get busy and make some GREAT art!
My submission this Monday is a portrait I took at Photoshop World. It has been worked over using PSE (filter), Topaz 5, and Filter Forge (grunge frame).

Cool, Chas.
Chaz that is some fine art. The treatment you used goes perfect with the photo.
That's really well done, Chas

I also used Topaz this week on a photo I made of Chris at play last summer (he's bouncing on one of those big air-filled rubber things). I liked the action but the image was, IMHO, pretty ordinary:

I thought Topaz, plus some PSE filters, could add more interest:

I like the treatment of your photo, Rusty - definitely has more impact.

Chas - that is a very gritty image - matches the subject

I have already posted this picture for the Monthly 8 Challenge but thought that the high key treatment allowed it to be classified as art too!

This is the high-key version

I played with the original a bit in PS - increasing the saturation of the beaks amonst other things then used the High Key 2 option in Topaz B&W. I partially restored the beak colour in the Local Adaptation panel. I also tweked the position of the left hand swan to give a more pleasing result (I hope!). I have never taken/prduced any High Key work before but I was impressed with this result.

:thanks: for the kind words on the portrait. Angela, I really like the high key effect on the swans.

Rusty the treatment you chose really does add a great effect, love how Chris is in mid air.
Angela high key looks great on the swans . High key is something i need to practice with.
Inspiring art everyone!

I decided to try a low key filter, and threw in a texture and another layer... got kind of crazy. :) I'll show both before and after.
