Thanks, Courtney. The tutorial showed how the mixer brushes can be used on a new layer to 'pull' the colour through from the photo and make it look like a painting. I am sure it is an easy way of making a photo into a painting - in the right hands. The tutorial used a portriat but I think I might have been better with a more forgiving landscape. I'd like to improve on my (limited) technique so maybe sometime in the future I will submit another painting to Make Art Monday.

BTW I like your treatment of the clouds and trees.
