Nope, not mine! They were just there by the path leading to the beach....no one around at all. Must have run away.

However, I think it could just as easily be a Cassin's Finch (and that is more common out west than the Purple Finch).

Rusty, I looked it up, and am now sure it's a Cassin's Finch. Thanks for setting me straight.
