It's "Make Art Monday!" So let's get busy and make some GREAT art!

Change a blend mode, play with a filter ..... anything goes as "ART"
This Monday's submission is a three pic pano from the top of Hoover Dam looking at Lake Mead.
Lightly Topazed.

Using the Note Paper filter I came up with this.

To see the photo larger (a much better image) open the link below. If you open the link below and the picture is too large for your screen you can click on one of the smaller links located just above the picture to the left of center.

Looking at my submission from this morning, I felt there was something missing. So I added a grunge frame .

Chas it was a good Pano now it is fantastic with your added frame.
Russ you achieved a really great look with the notebook filter.
Rusty , looks great as a sketch. You never know how they will turn out.
Irv the treatment you used on that beautiful flower looks wonderful.
Nice variety of art, gives me inspiration.

Found this pair all alone on the beach. They looked so new, couldn't be abandoned, so I figured they ran away together.

alone at last
Very original art, everyone!

Tennie, your capture appears to tell a story. That pair does indeed look like they've run off together and are heading for someplace important.

Think this is a Purple Finch. Photographed him a few weeks ago in NE WA. He was paused on a branch near the feeder. Used Topaz Simplify painting oil and Topaz Detail.

Chas, that grunge border is just perfect.

Mary, I second your vote for Purple Finch; that's a very nice, close up shot. However, I think it could just as easily be a Cassin's Finch (and that is more common out west than the Purple Finch).

Chas, the frame adds just the right touch to your well-done pano.
Russ, the random tree & notepaper work wonderfully together. I bought some nice stationery one time, which had something very similar on the top center. Only, that part was tinted lavender, rather than gray.
Rusty & Irv, real nice art.
Tennie, did the sandals follow you home?
Mary, Love the oil painting effect & color of the beautiful finch. Terrific capture.
