There is a short growing season here in Calgary, but this month I have flowers in my gardens, yay! I made a little floral arrangement with an assortment of blooms. Then I used Topaz to paint them.

Tonight I was doing dishes and another of this month's 8 appeared right under my nose, unfortunately. Mr. or Mrs. Caterpillar - I don't know if you're the kind who turns into a lovely butterfly, but when your hairy little butt in on my dish rack, you're a PEST!

Courtney, that's one nervy little critter you have there, but she (he) is certainly photogenic! One reason I like this thread so much is that you never know what's going to show up next (just like life!), and if you keep the subjects in the back your mind, something, more often than not, shows up to fit.
