It's "Make Art Monday!" So let's get busy and make some GREAT art!

Change a blend mode, play with a filter ..... anything goes as "ART"
Nik HDR Efex Pro was used for this Monday's submission.

Chas i love the coloring. Great art to start with.
Nice, artful use of your Nik software, Chas

Last week, Chas posted a banded lizard he found in his yard. So, I was wondering how many of these have paid him a visit.

(tried out CS6 HDR toning (however, I feel most of the effect can be achieved with ACR & levels). Then, a color tone was added with CS match color. (Photo filter & blend modes could be used in place of match color or for those who have topaz fxlab - instant tone.)

This reptile hangs out at the Dallas arboretum. I love all their statues for photoshopping.

I'm expecting Judy to come in here any minute & blow up the place, like she did last week. I have a feeling she hates reptiles. :)

On Sunday our church had the formal blessing of a bronze sculpture installed in the Prayer Garden. I, of course, was Johnny on the Spot recording the ceremony for the website. This new addition faces West so I returned late in the day to take some shots when the sun was low in the sky and hitting it pretty much "head on" with no harsh facial shadows.

I played around with Topaz with a few of the images:

The last one added faced East so I had to get out of bed not long after sunrise to get such views. I sure like it better this way!

Betty, that is quite some snake image. I like your processing.

"All mixed up" is right, Judy. Nice creation.

Like the "blue railroad", Chas.

Rusty i love it.
Chas, I love the colors.
Betty, what a cool looking snake, although I wouldn't want to run into that guy.
Judy, that's a very interesting effect. I need to look into the displacement map.
Rusty, that's a lovely sculpture and the colors are perfect.
Here's an oil painting effect I tried.
