I have a sunset with water too, but mine is soft and muted instead of bright and bold like yours.

Thanks for the kind words, Courtney. The photo was made from 3 exposures...-1,0,+1 and HDR processed. The original good exposure (0) really lacked "pop". I really like the muted colors of your sunset photo.

Two different takes on a sunset. Both are outstanding.

Courtney, your picture has peaceful subdued colors.

Both sunsets are gorgeous. I don't get to see the sunset much unless I'm in town. There is a large patch of trees looking west that block my view unless it's winter or early spring and even then I still don't get the "whole" view. I do have one shot that I'll have to look for and post that was pretty.

Lovely sunsets, Charles and Courtney. Each one fits the place and weather. Hot and dramatic seems to fit my idea of Hawaii. The soft colours of the winter sunset fit in with the ice and snow.

I played with one of my autumn shots - running it through Simplify 4 and Clean (though it is difficult to see at this size)
