Love to browse. You have all posted some wonderful photos.
Like a lot of places in the Midwest, we have resident populations of Urban Geese ... Canada geese that don't migrate; they know a good thing when they see it.

There is a park department baseball field near my house. They put up scarecrows to try to keep the geese from gathering and pooping all over the field. Not sure how well this worked. Probably not well, geese are smart.

The park workers didn't get around to taking them down this winter.

This squirrel was waiting for us to put out some more peanuts (for the birds!)

My wife brings out lots and lots of nutcrackers when we decorate the house for Christmas...

Rusty - I remember seeing your nutcrackers previously. You have quite a collection! I don't think I have seen any like that anywhere else. Do you ever use them to crack nuts?
